Key Account Manager / Customer Liaison

Description Our client is currently looking to employ a Key Account Manager / Customer Liaison, to be based in Kempton Park, Johannesburg. 

Requirements:
  • Relevant tertiary qualification advantageous.
  • Technical background.
  • Drivers’ license and own vehicle essential.
  • Prepared to travel nationally, when required.
  • Proficient in both verbal and written communication.
 
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
  • Effectively manage client relationships and drive business success.
  • Travel to meet clients such as architects, quantity surveyors re projects and market the company.
  • Interact positively with clients, understanding their needs and building rapport.
  • Negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms while ensuring a win-win outcome.
  • Identify issues and develop effective solutions quickly.
  • Analyse data and market trends to make informed business decisions and recommendations.
  • Implement sales techniques and marketing strategies to promote products or services effectively.
  • Manage multiple accounts and projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery and satisfaction.
  • Provide excellent service and support to clients, addressing concerns and needs proactively.
  • Develop long-term strategies for client engagement and account growth.
  • Make use of relevant software and tools (like CRM systems) to track interactions and performance metrics.
  • Budgeting and sales forecasting.
  • Build and maintain a network of contacts that can provide insights or opportunities.
