Description	Our prominent client in the Financial Services Industry, is seeking to employ experienced a Finance and Data Analyst based in Sandton, Johannesburg. Experience in Financial Services / Wealth Management and exposure to Power BI secures. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you. Requirements: LS; Power Bi; Internal Applications (proprietary systems built in- house). Appropriate qualification. Experience in Financial Services / Wealth Management (beneficial). Exposure to Power BI (Beneficial). Ability to function at an operational level and work well within a team. Good communication skills, both written and verbal. Technical and IT proficient, need to be comfortable to work with data and analyse data. Strong financial background. Self - motivated to ensure personal and professional improvement. Action orientated and pro-active. Computer literacy: Data Management, MSOffice (strong xls), Power BI (preferable but not essential). Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to: Head office-based role working with Finance Manager, Data team and IT. Understanding of the company Operating Model and business processes. Building data models. Automating data models. Update dashboards as per internal SLAs. Ensure alignment to company development. Reassess the self-management principle continuously and self –measure. Ability to work with senior resources to achieve strategic initiatives. Establish the systems and alignment of resources to enable a sustainable Production environment. Financial data management and data processing. Create financial models. Management Information analysis. Business Information models. Analysing data trends. Interpreting and visualizing data.
