Description	Our client in the Engineering industry is currently looking to employ a Junior Automation Technician based in Port Elizabeth. A wonderful career opportunity awaits you. Requirements: National Diploma – Mechatronics or Electrical Engineering. 1-2 years’ experience in the field of Controls, PLC and instrumentation. Able to read and interpret piping and instrument diagrams (PID). Understanding of PLC programming and digital control systems. Experience with HVAC and building managements systems. A valid Code 08 driver’s license. Knowledge of electrical control circuits and maintenance management systems. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Program, repair and calibrate all process instrumentation, and controls. Commissioning of controls, instrumentation and building management systems. Attend to Callouts and breakdowns in our outside or normal hours. Fault finding on Sensors, controls and HVAC equipment. Develop and complete tasks in accordance with the company’s SHEQ and ISO system. Ability to professionally communicate with clients. Document and report all visits to customer sites and work performed. Work efficiently and accurately in line with customer expectations.
