Solar Sales Representative

Description Our client operating in the Solar / Renewable Energy space is currently looking to add a Solar Sales Representative to their Rosebank (JHB) team. 
2 Years of sales experience, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related technical field secures; viz. B2B or B2C sales.

Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years of sales experience, preferably in the solar energy industry or a related technical field.
  • A valid driver's license and reliable transportation is essential. 
  • A strong knowledge or interest in solar energy systems and services.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proven ability to build and maintain customer relationships.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
  • Engage with customers in our store and beyond, showcasing the benefits of our solar products.
  • Identify and understand customer needs, providing tailored solar solutions that maximize savings and efficiency.
  • Identify and cultivate new sales opportunities through networking, cold calling, and other innovative strategies.
  • Manage inbound sales calls and proactively contact potential customers using various communication channels (Email, WhatsApp, Phone, etc.).
  • Meet with potential customers to assess their solar needs and perform site visits as necessary.
  • Present, promote, and sell our solar offerings, articulating the value and benefits of the company's solutions.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations, proposals, and quotes.
  • Manage and track the sales pipeline, ensuring opportunities progress through the sales process.
  • Collaborate with internal teams such as installation and engineering to meet customer needs.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring satisfaction and repeat business.
  • Provide management with insights on customer needs, competitive activities, and opportunities for new products and services.
  • Participate in the ongoing improvement of sales processes.
