Description	Our client in the Wholesale (FMCG) industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Sales Manager based in Port Elizabeth. Requirements: Matric as a minimum requirement - University degree / diploma in sales is advantageous. 2 - 5 years of industry experience (Sales / Retail / FMCG) Experience managing staff. Own vehicle is essential. Responsibilities, but not limited to: Servicing existing accounts, obtaining orders, and establishing new accounts by planning and organizing daily work schedule to call on existing or potential sales outlets and other trade factors. Merchandising and display of products in such a way that stimulates interest and entices customers to make a purchase. Adjusts content of sales presentations by studying the type of sales outlet or trade factor. Focusing sales efforts by studying existing and potential volume of dealers. Submitting orders by referring to price lists and product literature. Keep management informed by submitting activity and results reports, such as daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly and annual territory analyses. Monitors competition by gathering current marketplace information on pricing, products, new products, delivery schedules, and merchandising techniques. Recommending changes in products, service, and policy by evaluating results and competitive developments. Resolving customer complaints by investigating problems, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management. Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops, reviewing professional publications, establishing personal networks, and participating in professional societies. Providing historical records by maintaining records on area and customer sales.
