Description	Our client in the Construction industry is looking to employ a Commercial Assistant, based in Cape Town. About the Role: We are seeking a proactive and organized Commercial Assistant to support our sales and key account management functions. The ideal candidate should have previous experience in the construction industry, be under 40 years old, and possess a valid driver’s license for weekly site visits (no site work required). Requirements: Matric Certificate - with mathematics. Bilingual. Roofing experience - advantageous. Technical background required. Driver's license (non-negotiable). Responsibilities: Document and File Management: Maintain accurate and confidential records, including quotations, electronically and physically. Sales Support: Assist with preparing quotes, tracking sales leads, and managing key client accounts, including payment follow-ups. Client and Key Account Maintenance: Ensure strong relationships with key clients through regular follow-ups and support. Site Readiness Assessments: Visit sites weekly to assess project progress and readiness for measurements. Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between departments, clients, vendors, and sales representatives to ensure smooth operations. General Administrative Support: Assist with office tasks, deliver goods to customers when necessary, and attend client meetings with the Commercial Director.
