Description Our client based in Port Elizabeth currently looking to employ a Sales Manager.

Requirements:
  • Grade 12 (A high school diploma or equivalent) Essential.
  • Sales/Management Qualification (Minimum 12-Month Certificate/ Diploma Qualification).
  • 5 years Successful Corporate Direct Sales experience.
  • 1-3 years of Renewable Energy Industry Experience.
  • 2-3 years Junior management experience.
  • 3 years Successful Account Management experience.
  • Experience in managing and developing a high-performing sales team.
  • Principles and Processes for Providing Customer Services.
  • Business and Management Principles.
  • Basic Financial Principles for Profitability.
  • Principles and Methods for Motivating the Sales Team.
  • Administrative Procedures and Systems.
  • Products and Costs (Renewable Energy Products).
  • Laws and Government Regulations (Renewable Energy Regulations).
  • Principles and Methods for Selling Renewable Energy Products and Services.
  • CRM Systems, Microsoft Office Skills.
  • Market Knowledge.
                                                           
Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:
Planning:
  • Anticipate problems and adjust plans accordingly.
  • Develop schedules, priorities, and objectives.
  • Plan staffing levels and resource allocation.
  • Revise plans to adapt to changing circumstances.
Implementing / Co-ordinating:
  • Assign duties and organize resources.
  • Ensure smooth coordination of activities.
  • Initiate action in emergencies.
  • Set up efficient administrative systems.
Controlling / Directing:
  • Authorize actions and manage resources.
  • Ensure compliance with policies, laws, and budgets.
  • Oversee emergency responses and work completion.
  • Supervise adherence to agreed policies and procedures.
Reviewing / Evaluating:
  • Assess feasibility, efficiency, and compliance.
  • Review project progress and alternative methods.
  • Evaluate reports, costs, and performance outcomes.
Supervising / Directing:
  • Lead teams and maintain discipline.
  • Provide instructions and monitor performance.
  • Supervise work quality and regulatory compliance.
Appraising / Evaluating / Developing:
  • Assess staff performance and development needs
  • Coach, mentor, and train employees.
  • Provide constructive feedback and guidance.
Motivating:
  • Foster enthusiasm and teamwork.
  • Encourage cooperation and work efficiency.
  • Motivate individuals to achieve goals.
Assisting / Caring:
  • Support employees facing work or learning challenges.
Disciplining / Disputes / Grievances:
  • Address grievances and resolve disputes.
