Description	Our client in the manufacturing industry, is seeking to employ a Battery Quality Inspector to join their team, based in Elandsfontein, Johannesburg East. Matric qualification with Maths and Science as subjects, or N3, or N6 electrical or chemical studies secures. Awesome sales opportunity awaits! Requirements: Excellent eyesight and strong attention to detail. Physically fit and capable of lifting heavy batteries. Computer literate with knowledge of MS Excel or similar software. Fluent in English (spoken and written). Minimum educational qualification: Matric with Mathematics and Science. N3 or N6 in Electrical or Chemical studies, or a similar tertiary qualification, is advantageous. At least 3 years of experience in a quality testing or inspection environment. Valid driver’s license and own transport. Responsibilities: Check battery open circuit voltage (OCV) using a voltmeter. Inspect battery labels for accuracy according to master references. Assess the condition and alignment of battery terminals. Identify engraved codes on battery units. Handle and lift batteries manually (weighing between 15 to 20 kg). Prepare inspection reports and spreadsheets; perform basic data analysis. Communicate effectively with various departments across the business.
