Our client based in Port Elizabeth is currently looking to employ a Payroll Administrator.

Requirements:

• Matric / Grade 12.
• A relevant certificate / diploma will be advantageous.
• At least three (3) years' experience in a demanding payroll position.
• Experience with a Time and Attendance system (Jarrison experience will be advantageous).
• Experienced working on a payroll system, e.g. Pastel Payroll, VIP. 
• Strong MS Excel skills. 
• The ability to work under pressure and to meet tight deadlines - non-negotiable! 
• Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

Responsibilities and expectations, but not limited to:

• Administering and managing the Time and Attendance system, ensuring that it is an accurate representation of the time and attendance of all employees. 
• Providing management with daily attendance reports.
• Executing the fortnightly payroll, ensuring the accurate payment of fortnightly wages.
• Preparing the payroll input for the monthly salary payroll. 
• Complying with statutory requirements, including UIF and PAYE submissions. 
• Providing administrative support within the HR function.
