Our client, in the Engineering industry, is currently looking to employ an experienced HVAC Draughtsman based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

• 2 years’ experience in either AutoCAD or Revit.
• Grade 12 / Technical equivalent.
• Building services exposure.
• HVAC industry experience - Advantageous.
• Tertiary qualification in Mechanical - Advantageous.
• Valid Code 08 Driver’s License.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

• Customer Satisfaction – always the main objective.
• AutoCAD design drawings.
• Design and AutoCAD drafting of complete HVAC works including air distribution calculation, duct sizing, duct layouts, refrigerant piping, chilled water piping, diffusers/grill sizing etc.
• Administering the drawing office and keeping all project drawings & records up to date.
• Produce standard legends and notes for drawings.
• Compiling all HVAC design work for site monitoring.
• Compile all design information and parameters, to produce heat load calculations and design, to design air conditioning and ventilation system, to do ducting design work and equipment selection.
