Our client, operating within the food production industry, is currently looking to employ an experienced HR Manager.

This position requires candidates to reside in the St Francis Bay, Humansdorp, or Jeffreys Bay area.

Requirements:

• National Diploma or Degree in Human Resources Management or a related field.

• Minimum of 5 years’ experience in Human Resources, with at least 2 years in a management or supervisory role.

• Strong understanding of South African labour legislation.

• Previous experience in the manufacturing, agriculture, food processing, or export sectors will be advantageous.

• Excellent interpersonal, communication, and conflict resolution skills.

• High levels of integrity, discretion, and organisational ability.

• Proficient in MS Office and HRIS systems.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

• Manage the full HR function, including recruitment, onboarding, employee relations, training, and performance management.

• Ensure compliance with South African labour legislation and company HR policies.

• Support workforce planning and skills development across both operational and support departments.

• Handle disciplinary processes, grievance procedures, and workplace investigations in a fair and compliant manner.

• Collaborate with the finance team to coordinate payroll inputs and manage employee benefits.

• Maintain accurate and up-to-date HR records, contracts, and related documentation.

• Promote a positive workplace culture that aligns with the company’s values and enhances employee engagement and productivity.

• Partner with management to support organisational change initiatives and lead HR-related projects.
