Our client in the Education Industry is currently looking to employ a Senior Student / Educational Advisor (Undergraduate) based in Roodepoort, Gauteng.

Requirements:

  • 3 Year Diploma / bachelor's degree (NQF level 7) in Business / Marketing / Public Relations / Communication field or similar.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience in a sales environment.
  • Own vehicle and valid driver’s license.
  • Strong presentation skills are essential for effectively engaging and inspiring prospective students.

Responsibilities and expectations but not limited to:

  • Lead and inspire the sales team to achieve individual and campus-wide targets for appointments, applications, and registrations.
  • Build and manage relationships with prospective students throughout the recruitment funnel—from lead generation to final registration.
  • Drive application numbers by executing campus-level sales and marketing strategies to attract full-time and part-time undergraduate and postgraduate students.

Presentation Target:

  • Deliver impactful presentations at targeted schools to promote the institution and its offerings.
  • Effectively deliver engaging presentations to prospective students to promote the institution and its programmes.
  • Distribute promotional material and engage students to drive interest and enquiries.
  • Represent the institution at career expos and relevant events.
  • Meet monthly presentation quotas based on targeted schools.

Database Collection:

  • Collect and grow school databases in line with monthly outreach targets.

Interview Target:

  • Conduct outbound calls to schedule interviews with prospective students, meeting daily and weekly quotas.
  • Follow up on applications, confirm proof of payment, and secure interview appointments.
  • Respond promptly to online and phone enquiries.
  • Conduct student and parent interviews using standard scripts, building rapport and trust.
  • Consistently meet set targets for weekly, monthly and annual interview volumes.

Application Target:

  • Guide students through the online application process during interviews and secure immediate submissions.
  • Follow up on incomplete or unpaid applications to ensure finalisation.
  • Execute regular call campaigns to convert interviews into applications.
  • Encourage early acceptance and pre-registration fee payments.
  • Achieve individual application targets across weekly, monthly and annual cycles.

Registration Target:

  • Convert applications into confirmed student registrations and meet personal registration goals.

Administration and Reporting:

  • Maintain accurate daily records including call reports and interview booking trackers and the CRM system.
  • Ensure application forms are fully completed and accompanied by required documents.
  • Update all systems and submit reports as per required by the Head: Student Recruitment. 

Working Hours:

  • Monday to Friday: 08:00 -17:00
