Description

Our Client, a prominent brand in the Retail Industry, is seeking to employ an experienced Digital Marketer and Graphic Designer, to their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Requirements:

  • Degree in Marketing or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years proven working experience in Digital Marketing.
  • Experience identifying target audiences and devising digital campaigns.
  • Experience optimising landing pages and user funnels.
  • Experience with A/B and multivariate experiments.
  • Knowledge of website analytics tools.
  • Experience setting up and optimising Google Adwords campaigns.
  • Working knowledge of HTML, CSS, WordPress and JavaScript advantageous.
  • Microsoft Office with strong Excel skills.
  • Strong analytical and data-driven thinking.
  • Project management experience.
  • Up-to-date with online marketing trends and best practices.

Responsibilities, but not limited to:

Social Media and Business Networking Platforms

  • Design, build, maintain and grow social media presence across all channels
  • Facebook
  • Instagram
  • Threads
  • TikTok
  • LinkedIn

Digital Marketing

  • Plan and execute all digital marketing, including SEO / SEM, Web-Analytics & Conversion Optimization marketing database, email, social media, website and display advertising campaigns.
  • Content Creation – produce written copy, graphics via Canva and the like, and short form video content.
  • Google Ads and Facebook Ads.
  • Marketing Automation using platforms like Mail Chimp and Everlytic.
  • Run A/B testing.
  • SMS Marketing.
  • Liaise with the external Marketing Company for web development.
  • Data Analytics using tools like Google Analytics to interpret traffic, conversion rates and ROI.

AI and Automation

  • Familiar with technical mastery of AI tools.
  • Create content via AI.

Online Stores

  • Assist in maintaining and updating the website.
  • Track and record website statistics.
  • Upload product data.
  • Upload images.
  • Upload updated stock quantities.
  • Create sales and promotions.
  • Write blogs.
  • Electronic newsletters.
  • Create and add banners.
  • Manage incoming orders.
  • Communicate with customers who log online queries.
  • Ensure customer information cards are completed and captured into a database.
  • Marketing opportunities through payment gateways.

Retail Stores

  • Build positive relationships with Retail Store Managers.
  • Draw up an annual rolling marketing plan.
  • Ensure signage and marketing communication are ready before campaign launches.
  • Liaise with Retail Store Managers regarding in-store campaign setup.
  • Loyalty program management.

Retail Centre Management – Marketing

  • Ensure maximum exposure in malls.
  • Communicate with Mall Marketing Managers.
  • Understand marketing plans and opportunities.
  • Negotiate exposure for retail stores.
  • Physical visits to malls, especially Port Elizabeth.
  • Build working relationships with Mall Marketing Managers.

Wholesale Customers

  • Supply product images to wholesale customers.
  • Create promotional and campaign content for wholesale customers.

Graphic Design

  • Design graphic content for social media platforms.
  • Create videos for in-store displays.
  • Edit and resize images.
  • Design in-store signage.
  • Design hanging labels.
  • Manage and update the digital catalogue.

Lifestyle Photoshoots

  • Liaise with in-house photographer.
  • Develop lifestyle photo and video concepts.

Product Information Videos

  • Create video content for YouTube, TikTok and similar platforms.
  • Create lifestyle orientated videos using AI or Creative Cloud.

Radio Stations

  • Build relationships with radio account managers.
  • Participate in radio ad creation process.
  • Control promotions with radio stations.

Influencer Marketing

  • Identify influencer marketing opportunities.
  • Participate in negotiations.

Budgeting

  • Manage approved campaign budgets.
  • Maximise return on investment.

Strategy

  • Brainstorm growth strategies.
  • Drive traffic and conversion through content marketing.
  • Measure and report digital marketing performance.
  • Identify trends and insights.
  • Plan, execute and measure experiments and conversion tests.
