Our Client, a prominent and leading business, is seeking to employ a Shipping Coordinator with export experience to join their team based in Port Elizabeth.

Working Hours:
Monday to Friday | 09h00 – 15h00

Requirements:

• Proven experience in shipping or logistics coordination

• Demonstrated export experience

• Strong administrative and organisational skills

• Articulate and professional communication skills (written and verbal)

• Intermediate proficiency in MS Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

• Valid driver’s licence and own reliable transport (non-negotiable)

• Ability to multitask and work accurately under pressure

• Experience working with Pastel – advantageous but not essential

Responsibilities:

Shipping and Logistics

• Coordinate shipments with freight forwarders and courier companies

• Arrange collections and deliveries for international, national, and local partners

• Manage and process export documentation in line with regulatory requirements

• Prepare invoices, packing lists, airway bills, and related shipping documents

• Track shipments and resolve delivery or customs-related issues

• Maintain accurate shipping records and filing systems

Client Liaison

• Communicate professionally with clients regarding collections, deliveries, and shipment updates

• Build and maintain strong relationships with the client base

• Handle queries efficiently and ensure high service standards

Reception and Administration

• Operate the company switchboard and direct calls appropriately

• Provide general administrative support to the team

• Assist with capturing and processing information on internal systems
