Our client in the FMCG Industry is currently looking to employ an experienced Business Intelligence Developer to join their team based in Humansdorp.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in IT / Computer Science / Data Management / Statistics / Related Field
• Minimum 5 years’ hands-on BI development experience
• Proven experience with: SSIS, SQL Server, SSAS, Qlik Sense, Power BI, NPrinting
• Advanced T-SQL
• SQL Server performance tuning
• ETL development and scheduling
• SSAS Tabular modelling
• Qlik Sense scripting and dashboards
• Power BI modelling and DAX
• NPrinting design and automation
• Data warehousing and dimensional modelling

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain SSIS ETL pipelines from multiple data sources
• Manage data extraction, transformation, and loading into SQL Server
• Ensure reliable data flows and system efficiency
• Design, develop, and optimise SQL Server databases for analytics and reporting
• Perform query tuning and performance optimisation
• Maintain database integrity and security
• Build and maintain SSAS Tabular Models
• Develop KPIs, measures, hierarchies, and security roles
• Support dimensional modelling and data warehousing best practices
• Develop and support Qlik Sense dashboards and applications
• Build Power BI datasets, dashboards, and reports
• Deliver user-friendly and impactful business insights
• Design and manage NPrinting reports
• Maintain scheduling, templates, and automated distribution
• Gather requirements from business users
• Translate reporting needs into BI solutions
• Communicate technical outputs clearly to non-technical users
• Monitor production BI environments
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues proactively
• Maintain data accuracy, documentation, and governance standards
