Our Client, operating in the OEM Automotive Industry, is seeking to employ a Project Manager to their team based in Centurion, Gauteng.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field.
- Proven experience in logistics or operations management, preferably within the automotive industry.
- Strong understanding of logistics, supply chain processes, and transportation management.
- Excellent leadership and team management skills.
- Exceptional problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
- Proficiency in logistics software and Microsoft Office Suite.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Knowledge of industry regulations and compliance standards.
Responsibilities, but not limited to:
- Oversee and manage the day-to-day logistics operations, including transportation, warehousing, and distribution of automotive products.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to improve efficiency and service quality.
- Coordinate with clients, suppliers, and internal teams to ensure timely and accurate delivery of services.
- Monitor and analyze operational performance, identifying areas for improvement and implementing solutions.
- Manage and lead a team of logistics and warehouse staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations.
- Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and company policies.
- Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports related to operations.
- Utilize logistics software and technology to streamline operations and improve tracking and reporting.
- Handle any operational issues or disruptions, ensuring minimal impact on service delivery.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence within the team.
