Requirements:

• Relevant tertiary qualification in Accounting, Auditing, or Finance.
• Completed SAICA articles or equivalent audit training.
• Registered CA(SA) qualification advantageous.
• 3–5 years’ experience within an accounting, auditing, and advisory environment.
• Previous supervisory or team leadership experience.
• Strong knowledge of IFRS, ISA, and relevant legislation.
• Proficiency in audit software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise and manage audit engagements from planning to completion.
• Review audit files, working papers, and financial statements.
• Ensure compliance with auditing standards and regulatory requirements.
• Lead, mentor, and support junior audit staff.
• Allocate work and monitor team performance and deadlines.
• Identify audit risks and provide practical recommendations to clients.
• Liaise directly with clients regarding audit queries and deliverables.
• Prepare and present audit findings and reports.
• Assist with budgeting, billing, and engagement administration.
• Support partners and managers with advisory and consulting projects.
• Maintain strong client relationships and provide professional service.
• Ensure quality control procedures are adhered to throughout engagements.
